Glenn and Nancy Newsome have been residents of Jasper County for over 30 years. Their four children attended Jasper county public schools. Glenn retired from state government where he served as Deputy State School Superintendent, Education Policy Advisor to Governor Zell Miller and Executive Director of the Georgia Student Finance Commission that administers Georgias HOPE Scholarship Program.
Glenn is active in his community and church. He currently serves on the Monticello City Council and is Clerk of the Session for the Monticello Presbyterian Church.
