Whisper Rock is a golf club located in North Scottsdale, AZ. A Phil Mickelson designed 18- hole golf course opened in December 2000. The 2nd golf course is due to open very soon. The concept of the Club at Whisper Rock is to focus more on golf rather than the country club amenities. Although it is located within a residential community, membership is separate from the land. Membership is by application and two current members must recommend the applicant.
Membership Information
Initiation fee is currently $130,000. This is a 90% equity membership. Monthly dues are currently $709.00 until the clubhouse is completed. Membership is limited to 290 members per golf course. Membership is limited to immediate family members. The purchase of a home site or home is not necessary for membership.
Residential Information
Whisper Rock is a guard gated custom home community. Custom homes begin in the $2,000,000 range. Homes range from 4,500 to over 6,000 square feet. Home sites range from $300,000 to over $1,000,000. The homeownerÂ’s association dues are $3,400 paid annually.
